We are closely monitoring the latest information and taking action for Driver Partners, passengers and corporate accounts.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The UK Government has classified businesses providing road passenger transport to be within the critical sector in its response to COVID-19, and we will therefore continue to provide a booking service to you and the Driver Partners will continue to undertake journeys.

Our priority is for passengers and Driver Partners to have a safe and enjoyable journey. We have a COVID-19 team closely monitoring the situation and acting in line the latest guidance issued by Public Health England, Public Health Wales, and the NHS.


We are committed to doing our bit to guard against the spread of COVID-19 and hope that all passengers will do the same. Please follow NHS guidance before taking journeys in private-hire vehicles.


Guidance received from the National Taxi and Private Hire Association states: ‘The Prime Minister stated that social gatherings should be limited to no more than two people unless they are from the same household.’ Their guidance clarifies: ‘this does not limit the number of passengers within vehicles.’

Driver partners

We are fully committed to providing guidance to Driver Partners to help reduce the risks of spreading the virus. We are in regular contact with Driver Partners informing them of the latest guidance issued by health officials to help protect themselves and passengers.

Helping to keep vehicles clean

The vehicles used by driver partners are often their pride and joy, and their workplace all in one.  Based on feedback we’ve had from driver partners, keeping their vehicles clean is a priority for them.  They are therefore actively seeking ways of keeping the virus at bay through regular deep cleaning and ensuring that there is sufficient ventilation during journeys when appropriate.

Cashless payments

In addition to card payments on our App, we have introduced AirPay – a new payment method for passengers.

Passengers are sent a text message during the journey giving them the option of paying by card.

Local Authorities & licensing

Our Compliance Team is in regular contact with the multiple local authorities we engage with to ensure that driver partners and passengers are properly looked after. Any guidance issued to us as a private-hire operator will be complied with.

Corporate account customers

We liaise directly with all corporate account customers, including our NHS and Local Authority customers to ensure we mitigate risks for all parties. More detailed contingency planning is available upon request.

Protecting our communities

If we are notified of a Driver Partner or passenger testing positive for COVID-19, they will be temporarily prevented from taking or making a journey until they are medically cleared.
